Hello Kenneth D. Taylor Families,

We really hope everyone had a safe and healthy summer and ready for a return to school. We are looking forward to seeing all the students.

Here is some information about the school start up.

• Our office is open on Tuesday, August 27 at 9:00 a.m until 2:00 pm. 
• All classroom teachers will be sending out a School Messenger to introduce themselves and welcome families on August 27.  Please check your Junk email if you don’t receive this message by August 27 at 3:00 pm. If you still can’t find the message, please contact our school.
• We will have an open house for all families on Wednesday, August 28 between 2:00 and 3:00pm. This is for the families to see their classroom and meet the teacher prior to First day of school. You will also learn about which doors your student will be entering and exiting.  
• School for Students starts on Thursday, August 29 at 8:00am (7:45 soft entry)
• • On the first day of school, teachers will be meeting the students on the field between 7:45 am and 8:00 am. 
  • They will be holding a sign with their name and grade.
  • At 8:00 am, they will go into the school through each designated doors.
  • Please come in the front doors if you are running a little late that day.
• For the first day of school your child needs:
• • Backpack
  • Indoor Shoes
  • Snack
  • Lunch (if they are staying)

If you do not plan to attend Kenneth D. Taylor this year, and you have received this message, please respond to this email as soon as possible. We have a waitlist for all grades and will offer your spot to another student.

Once again, we are really looking forward to the start of the 2024-2025 school year.
