Dear Kenneth D. Taylor Families,

After three dedicated years serving as Assistant Principal at Kenneth D. Taylor, Ms. Melissa Forsyth will be transitioning into a new role as Principal at Catherine Nichols Gunn School beginning in September. While we are excited for Melissa as she takes on this new opportunity, we will certainly miss her greatly.

Over her time at Kenneth D. Taylor, Melissa has made a meaningful and lasting impact on our school community. Her leadership, care for students, and commitment to supporting staff and families have helped strengthen our positive school culture. She has been deeply involved in fostering a supportive learning environment, building strong relationships, and contributing to many initiatives that have benefited our students’ growth and well-being. Her presence has truly made a difference in the daily life of our school. Melissa will remain with us through the end of the current school year, continuing to support students, staff, and families during this important time.

As we prepare for the upcoming school year, we will begin the process of selecting a new Assistant Principal. Once that process is complete, we will share further information with families.
