To help raise money to support Brown Bagging for Calgary Kids Charity, the Grade 4’s have organized a Craft Market and Bake Sale.

The sale will be happening on Friday, June 14, 8:30 am - 11:00 am and All KDT Students (only) are invited to participate.

Baked goods will be available for $2.00 each and there will be a variety of crafts made by the Grade 4 students that cost $1.00 or $2.00.  Baked goods will be individually wrapped with ingredient lists displayed. Students can bring $2-5 dollars in cash only and come shopping for some fun craft items or a baked treat!

As the leaders of Kenneth D. Taylor School, our Grade 4 students have been learning about the importance of contributing to the greater communities that they are part of.  Brown Bagging for Calgary Kids Charity was chosen because it fits in well with our Kenneth D. Taylor Character Values of heart, empathy, acceptance, responsibility and truthfulness.  This charity provides lunches to more than 7,000 students each day in over 260 schools across Calgary. Our grade 4 students were really excited that they could help other kids, just like themselves, who may not have a lunch to eat at school every day.
